Rolex recently upgraded their Deepsea Sea-Dweller via ref. 126660, outfitting it with the brand’s latest caliber 3235 perpetual movement, new lugs, and a new style bracelet to better accommodate the Oysterlock clasp and tool-free Glidelock system. The movement now boasts a 70-hour power reserve, a Chronergy Escapement, and accuracy of -2/+2 seconds per day, bringing it up to speed with the brand’s newest generation of sports watches. The Deepsea is outfitted with a solid case back, a Triplock screw-down crown with three sealed zones, a thicker sapphire crystal sans Cyclops lens, and an innovative Helium Escape Valve (HEV) at the 9-hour markers for the ultimate in water resistance. As a diver, the used Rolex 126660 also boasts a unidirectional bezel for a safe reading and a highly visible Chromalight display on the dial.
